Morning Preschool Program
Your child can attend preschool from 9 - 11:30 a.m. Morning Preschool students attend Little Wonders every day the Wachusett Regional School District is open. If the WRSD has a delay or closing for any reason (weather, holiday, vacation, etc.) your child will not attend Morning Preschool.

Full Day Preschool Program
Our busy day includes our outstanding preschool program, nutritious snacks and lunch prepared by our on site cook, rest time to refuel our growing minds and bodies, and an afternoon of engaging and entertaining activities and play. Our full day Program is offered to children ages 2 years 9 months through pre kindergarten. Children attend between 7 am and 6 pm.

Kindergarten Program A
Your child can attend Little Wonders for a half day on days the WRSD is open for a FULL DAY. Your child does not attend Little
Wonders if the WRSD has a delay or a closing.

Preschool

Little Wonders has a Program to meet your child's educational, social, and emotional needs. From our established Programs, to "Create Your Own Care" options, Little Wonders is synonymous with quality, flexibility and caring.

Have you ever made a raisin dance? Gone on a bear hunt? Turned your body into a ferocious lion or a lion tamer? Well, Preschool at Little Wonders is all of those experiences and more. Your child's preschool day is comprised of three components: discovery time, table time, and creative movement. Each component has its own learning environment, staff facilitator, and curriculum.

Preschool is offered to children ages 2 years nine months through kindergarten. Hours are 9 am until 11:30 am. Preschool begins in late September and runs through late May. Preschool is offered on the days the Wachusett Regional School District is in session (See our Center calendar for more detailed information)

Discovery Time offers Center based, self-directed learning experiences designed specifically for the curiosity of the young mind. Number Concepts, Science Explorations, Home Living. Sand and Water, Creation Station and a Listening Center are just a few of the learning centers offered.

Table Time provides interesting and engaging opportunities to strengthen and develop fine motor skills. Playdough, stringing beads, cutting and pasting, and "Handwriting Without Tears"; an innovative approach to the introduction of letter writing is offered daily.

Creative Movement offers a time to move our large motor muscles. Balancing, throwing and catching, skipping and jumping, are highlighted developmental skills that are introduced by innovative games, obstacle courses and activities.

Healthy Snacks Too!
Children enjoy a nutritious snack which is prepared by our on site cook.
We serve 100% fruit juice, whole milk and well balanced meals with plenty of fruit and vegetables.
